We are pleased to announce our participation in the Veterinary Care Foundation. The VCF is a 501 charitable organization that is used to help strays, pets, and people in times of crisis. We often share stories of good clients donating to help a stray, and we often match those funds. But there are many animals out there that need help. VCF donations to The Animal Hospital of Chetek and Animal Hospital North in Rice Lake will be used to help clients at both locations, and throughout Barron and Rusk Counties, in times of unexpected needs (such as a house fire, or a pet that was hit by a car etc...), strays that people are trying to help, as well as for the care of humane society animals. Recently these funds were used to help several pets that suffered injuries due to the tornado that struck Chetek, Cameron, and surrounding areas in the summer of 2017.  Donations are tax deductible, and we do not have direct access to them. Our hospital will have to apply for a grant from the charity, this is done to make sure donations are used properly. If you wish to contribute you can donate to our charity by using the link below.
