Founded by the former president of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Rene Carlson, in 1995 the Animal Hospital of Chetek was built upon the philosophy that all pets deserve access to  modern medicine and equipment. Because of this the Animal Hospital of Chetek has always been a leader in providing advanced diagnostics and treatments to small town pets. 

In 2010 Dr. Kamran Khan took over the Animal Hospital of Chetek with a singular goal in mind, maintain the quality of care that Dr. Carlson had envisioned while reducing costs to allow advanced diagnostics and treatments to be accessible to more pet owners.
