Boarding

Boarding is available at the Animal Hospital of Chetek due it's larger size and ample yard space. Because the Animal Hospital North has limited kennel space and limited green space, we cannot offer boarding at that location.

We would be delighted to have your pet board at the Animal Hospital of Chetek.  We know that leaving your pet can be a difficult decision, but rest assured we will treat them as if they are our own. All dogs are exercised in our large yard at least three times a day. If your dog likes to play with a ball or Frisbee, please bring their favorite one and we will be more than happy to throw it for them.  Because all of the care we provide is conducted under the training and guidance of our team of veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians we can board a variety of special needs pets i.e diabetic pets, or geriatric pets. 

To protect your pets from disease we require all pets to have current vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies & Bordatella).  And to protect other pets we must treat any pets found to be carrying parasites.

A 20 dollar cancellation fee may be applied if we are not given 4 business days notice of your change in plans.  This policy is only enacted if our boarding facility is fully booked and other families were turned away because we were not notified of the cancellation. To date we have never had to charge this cancellation fee.
